Good Dog Design announces the launch of ‘Nova Music’ – a free application that brings new music to facebook users worldwide.
Key benefits for facebook users include:
- Listen Live: listeners can stream live any nova station direct into their facebook profile.
- Song Identification: in real time facebook users can see the title of the song currently playing on their Nova station, and the last 5 songs played at any time.
- Fave Songs: users can rate their fave songs being played on Nova, and share their choices with their friends. They can also watch as their Facebook friends add songs they like.
- Buy Songs: with one click listeners can download songs they like, from the Nova iTunes Store – the unique partnership between Nova and Apple iTunes.
- Other features: listeners can enter competitions online, subscribe to Nova podcasts and buy new music ringtones for their mobile – all while sitting on Facebook!
Wade Kingsley, Multimedia Development Manager, DMG Radio Australia says ‘Nova Music’ on Facebook is another example of the company extending the brand into the online space. “As Australia’s leading Under 40 network – Nova has to be where our listeners are. Facebook is undoubtedly where anyone under 40 (including most of us who work here!) spend a lot of time. We thought it would be cool to be able to listen to our favourite Nova new music while wasting hours and hours on facebook”.
Good Dog Design developed the application in conjunction with DMG Radio Australia’s internal Multimedia team. We had great fun developing the feature.
