Batman Digital Camera UI Visual Design visit site

posted by Tom Gooden

There's a small movie that's finally beginning to build some recognition via word of mouth. Maybe you've already heard of Batman and "The Dark Knight" movie, hopefully enough people will get the word out, and people will go out and see this hard to find gem.

After you see the movie, you're going to want to buy some sort of product to let everyone know you're in on the secret. Well luckily there's a solution.

About 6 months ago, we completed a new UI project for Digital Blue. They've recently started marketing a new line of products based on this huge blockbuster. The project started as a simple skinning of an existing multimedia app. Unfortunately, the source art was a limited, so we had to rebuild almost all of the UI elements. It was a project with a quick turnaround, but we really enjoyed working the Digital Blue team, and hope you run right out and buy a cool new Batman Digital Camera.

Paramount Citrus Full Launch visit site

posted by Kristin Baylis

The full launch of Paramount Citrus was completed today.

The final update included a whole lot of fun design challenges. The games were my favorite creative area, it was rewarding to create entertaining activities for children, as well being useful resources for teachers. Susie did a great job developing the core educational guidelines for the materials, as well as managing the project.

From a visual design perspective, it was nice to create these new features within the design framework of the current Paramount Citrus' design.

Paramount Citrus New Kids Content visit site

posted by Susie Shaw

Combining great design with educational content is one of our favorite types of projects! After the initial redesign of the Paramount Citrus site, they came to us with the challenge of creating engaging and informative content for kids.

We were up for the challenge. Starting with the national math, science and health standards we came up with 2 games about the health benefits of fresh citrus and how it is grown as well as supporting activities for the classroom, worksheets and a quiz. All of the games and activities were tested with real kids and teachers in the classroom.

Try some of the games, activities and lessons yourself:

Marin Catholic High School visit site

posted by Tom Gooden

One of our long time clients, Marin Catholic High School recently had a problem with their search positioning on Google. After trying the obvious fixes (using Webmaster tools, resubmitting site to Google, running an AdWord campaign..etc.) we're trying something really simple. We consulted with SEO expert, Andrew Shotland from Local SEO Guide and he recommended we simply link to the Marin Catholic site right from this blog.

So hang on to your hats, this very post is an experiment in inbound links. Hopefully we should see the fruit of our labor within the next few days.
