NetDockets visit site

posted by Sam Pohlenz

This week we launched NetDockets - a legal document search tool for chapter 11 filings. NetDockets isn't the first in the legal document search space, but we think its the first that really cares about usability. Searching for either a specific case or searching across multiple cases is a snap, with plenty more options available at your fingertips.

Ruby on Rails was an ideal fit for this project and a perfect choice for us as it allowed us to prototype rapidly and get feedback early from actual users. The main challenge was making the intelligent search interface work intelligently in older browsers such as IE6.

NetDockets' database currently contains 255 cases comprising roughly 855,000 documents. Go check out the latest and (we think) greatest legal document search out there. Your first $100 of searches is free!

Alibris Sellers Hub Launches visit site

posted by Tom Gooden

Alibris recently launched their new Sellers Hub. We worked with the amazing team at Alibris to design a new site that promotes key Seller hub benefits to professional and casual book sellers. The Good Dog team was responsible for the overall design and execution of the hub, and we oversaw the content development and integration.

Albris had a great deal of useful content for sellers, but was looking to streamline access to their content and improve its presentation. We focused on the needs of each prospective seller, and created a clean, contemporary design to clarify the overall messaging to sellers.

The Albris team helped define what information sellers need to make informed decisions, and ultimately we decided to divide marketing content into unique messages for each audience. So if you’re a Professional Book Seller, Sell Movies or Music, or just looking quickly sell a few old books, check out the new Alibris Sellers Hub
