Kenall visit site

posted by Tom Gooden

Earlier this month, we launched a new site for Kenall Manufacturing. Since 1963, Kenall has been designing and manufacturing high quality lighting fixtures for a wide range of commercial, institutional and industrial applications. Kenall is regarded as one of the industry’s most respected independent lighting manufacturers. Their name is synonymous with high abuse and vandal-resistant lighting, but they wanted to highlight their expanded range of products in other sectors: Education, Public Access, Commercial, Civic and Healthcare.

Under the direction of long-time industry expert, Guy Esberg, the site was restructured to make specifying lighting for distinct projects much easier. In addition to searching for fixtures by product type, users can now locate fixtures based upon specific project types, as well as individual applications within those project types. The new visual design is also a departure from their old site; the new look and feel is modern and conveys Kenall's innovative, up-to-date approach to product design, specification and manufacturing.

The team at Kenall was a pleasure to work with. They put in lots of long hours, and we truly appreciated all their help migrating impressive amounts of site data, images and product information.

We all have big plans for the future, but we're happy to see this fresh new site up and running!

Sacred Space Memorial visit site

posted by Susie Shaw

Picture_10
Yesterday we launched a new site for Sacred Space Memorial, a new company developing innovative burial and memorial solutions. They came to us with the challenge of creating a beautiful and evocative site that emphasized the full-circle of life.

We developed a simple and elegant site that would increase their web presence and serve as an introduction to potential clients. The site content is fully editable using a brand new, not-even-on-the-market-yet Ruby on Rails CMS created by our star developer Sam.

It was a fun project to work on and we always enjoy partnering with Scott Brown and his media company.

Paramount Citrus Relaunch visit site

posted by Kristin Baylis

We recently relaunched Paramount Citrus to coincide with their new brand and packaging release. The new site design is warm and welcoming and supports Paramount Citrus' commitment to providing the highest quality citrus.

It was a challenge to find the right balance of tone. With the addition of a new customer portal it was important to highlight the customers-focused content while still maintaining a friendly and approachable consumer site.

A new navigation structure simplified the consumer offerings focusing on products, recipes, health info and kid's games. The Customers section is more robust with extensive company and process information.

Big, friendly images and panoramic scenery gives a feel for the picturesque orchards at Paramount Citrus, and supports their commitment to the best possible quality citrus.

ShuffleBrain Redesign visit site

posted by Tom Gooden

We just launched a refreshed site for ShuffleBrain. ShuffleBrain makes engaging smart games for social networks. We've been been really honored to know and work with the founders, Amy Jo and Scott Kim. Amy, (CEO and social architect) is an internationally known expert in online social architecture, and Scott, (CFO and game designer) is one of the world’s most prolific and versatile puzzle designers.

Their first game, Photograb (available now on Facebook) turns your photos into brain-boosting visual puzzles. The team has done an amazing job tweaking and refining the game play to create an extremely simple and engaging social game.

In case you're interested, here's a screenshot of their old site that we built out a few years ago. You'll see some of the basic design elements that we refined and expanded to develop the new site.

Venture Pay Group Redesign visit site

posted by Tom Gooden

We just launched a new website for Venture Pay Group. We met the managing director, Lis Fuchs via our work together on the Kiddo! website. I really appreciate her incredible efforts as an officer on the Kiddo! board.

Mike and Lis run an boutique management consulting firm that specializes in the financial services industry. The firm has an impressive list of clients, and I would highly recommend getting in contact if you need any of their services. It was a pleasure to work with such pro's, and we always enjoy it when our client is right here in Mill Valley.
